Are all sunscreens safe for your family? The Food and Drug Administration announced in 2011 that it was conducting an investigation on the safety of spray sunscreen for children.
While that verdict has not been reached, Consumer Reports recently stated that spray sunscreen products were best kept away from young children.
The biggest risk of using these products is that children, particularly young and squirmy ones, might inhale the chemicals while parents are trying to apply the sunscreen.
