Summer Fun for Infants & Toddlers: 5 Storytimes & Activities This Week in Cleveland/Akron

Looking for something to do with your infant or toddler? Visit a local library (virtually or in-person) or other area attractions for storytimes, outdoor learning, crafts, and other fun activities for young children. Here are five happenings in the Greater Cleveland/Akron region this week.

June 15

Crocker Kids “Reading is Fun”.The free event on Tuesday, June 15, presented by Lake Ridge Academy and Northeast Ohio Parent Magazine, is ideal for kids, parents and caregivers. Invite your friends to enjoy “Reading is Fun” themed-event. Join in the storytimes and games, enter to win prizes, enjoy snacks and much, much more! Visit here

Walk and Talk for Parents and Small Children. Nature Baby: Sounds of the Woods. Bring baby outside to listen and learn about the sounds of nature. We will not only listen for sounds but make some nature noises of our own using different tools and instruments! Meet in the parking lot. Ages 0-3. Mill Stream Run Reservation at North Quarry Picnic Area. 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. Visit here to register
Streetsboro Summer Storytime. Stories and rhymes about woodland animals. Meeting outside the library, bring a blanket, towel, or chair to sit on. If weather is uncooperative, storytime will be canceled. 11 a.m. Portage Library, Pierce Streetsboro Branch Call 330-626-4458 to register here.

June 19

Toddler Time. Little learners develop their early learning skills through interactive stories, music, and activities. Ages 3 and younger. 10 a.m. Children’s Museum of Cleveland. Visit here to learn more.
