The Akron Zoo is offering multiple free and discounted admission days throughout the month of November.
The first date is on Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 4 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Free admission is available for all guests.
The zoo is honoring veterans with Veterans Appreciation Day from Friday, Nov. 7 through Tuesday, Nov. 11. All veterans will receive free admission, and immediate family members receive 50% off. A valid military ID is required.
The zoo’s popular shopping event, Shop-a-Holidays, returns on Saturday, Nov. 15 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission is free for the day. More than 60 local vendors will be set-up throughout the zoo for guests to enjoy some holiday shopping.
