Cuyahoga Falls Library is now offering cardholders free access to online educational courses from Lynda.com.
Library cardholders can pick any topic they want to learn about, access Lynda.com inside or outside the library (from any device with an internet connection) and log into CuyahogaFallsLibrary.org to access the courses.
“Now owned by LinkedIn, Lynda.com is a premiere site offering 12,000 courses with more than 50 different learning paths to help users stay ahead in their current job or change careers. The free resource is invaluable to advancing workforce development skills,” said Valerie Kocin, director of Cuyahoga Falls Library. “Lynda courses support entrepreneurship, career development, and creativity.”
Courses include:
Job hunting and résumé or cover letter writing
Business skills, communication, marketing and leadership
Data analysis, cloud computing, and server management
Creative arts including 3D animation, video editing, photography and more
“Providing Lynda.com is another way that we are supporting the local community and small businesses in our area,” Kocin added.
