Lake Erie Canopy Tours will open Friday, May 4 with a weekend-only schedule through May 20 for a season of zipline and challenge course thrills. Beginning May 25, the aerial attraction will remain open daily through October 31 (weather permitting).
Lake Erie Canopy Tours offers three ways to enjoy thrills:
The Zipline Canopy Tour offers multiple zipline sections, including a side-by-side double zip, swinging sky bridges and several treetop towers up to 60 feet tall. The 2½-hour tour will showcase a shoreline panorama and the beauty of the park.
With staff to monitor and assist, the Adult Adventure Challenge Course offers a 2-hour, self-guided adventure for individuals, families, work teams and other spirited groups. Highlights include the Wheelhouse Tower, Shiver Me Timbers!, Rum Runner’s Route and Peg Leg’s Plight, along with an optional daring free-fall rappel. A continuous belay system helps ensure rider safety.
The Wiggle, Mini-Trapeze, Short Zips and more await adventurous youngsters ages 4 through 10. The self-guided Kids Adventure Course includes one-hour access to kid-sized ziplines and rope obstacles with its own continuous belay system to help ensure safety as well as staff on hand to assist and monitor.
