Taking place at the same time as Ohio’s sales tax holiday this weekend, Pinecrest is hosting a Drive-Thru Back to School Drive to collect school supplies to help fulfill a vital need for foster children in the Cleveland area through Fostering Hope.
Items most needed include backpacks, crayons, colored pencils, markers, journals, notebooks, coloring books and water bottles.
The supply drive will take place Friday, August 7, through Sunday, August 9 from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. daily.
The drive-thru drop-off will be located between Williams-Sonoma and Firebird’s Woodfired Grill at Pinecrest, 211 Park Ave., Orange Village.
Fostering Hope serves kids whose lives are directly impacted by foster care throughout Northeast Ohio. Through no fault of their own, these kids are facing challenges, fears, and feelings of isolation that stem from a fractured family environment. Fostering Hope brings them experiences that enrich their lives.
