Summer Weekday Fun: July 3-7

July 3

Fireworks & Food Trucks. Celebrate America’s independence in downtown Wadsworth. Over 20 downtown small businesses will be open for shopping and dining. There will also be over 20 food trucks downtown. Fireworks at dusk. 6-10:30 p.m. mainstreetwadsworth.org

Freedom Festival and Fireworks. Gates open at 4 p.m. with activities, entertainment, food and beverages, and fireworks at approximately 10 p.m. Victory Park Ohio, 7777 Victory Lane, North Ridgeville, nridgeville.org

Medina July 4th Fireworks and Parade. The City of Medina’s Independence Day Fireworks will take place July 3rd at dusk at Medina High School. The annual parade will be held July 4th at 4 p.m. Parade route begins at Medina High School parking lot, heads south on Spring Grove, then west on Liberty Street and around the Square, medinaoh.org

 

July 3-4

Berea Grindstone Festival. Paddle boat rides, live entertainment, inflatables and fireworks. 4-10 p.m. Coe Lake Park, cityofberea.org

 

July 4

Fireworks at the Fairgrounds. Gates open at 5, a variety of food trucks will be on site for refreshments. Fireworks launch between 9:45-10pm, Canfield Fairgrounds, canfield4thofjuly.com

Chardon Old Glory Days. Children’s parade, games, music, face painting, balloon animals and more. 1-4 p.m. Chardon Square Gazebo, Short Court Street, chardon.cc

July 4th Concert & Fireworks. Enjoy a concert followed by a spectacular fireworks display. 8-10 p.m. Mentor Civic Amphitheater, 2475, 8600 Munson Road, cityofmentor.com

Raintree 5K and Fun Run. This family fun event for ages 5+. 7:30 & 8:45 a.m. Raintree Golf & Event Ctr., 4350 Mayfair Rd., Green, cityofgreen.org

Light Up the Point. You’ll be treated to one spectacular display right on the Cedar Point Beach – it’s one of the largest 4th of July fireworks shows on the Great Lakes. 10 p.m. Cedar Point, 1 Cedar Point Dr., Sandusky, cedarpoint.com

Four on the Fourth. Start your holiday in historic Downtown Hudson with a 4 miler through picturesque neighborhoods. Light up the Lake 4TH of July Fireworks Celebration. Family-friendly fireworks spectacular, scheduled shoot off from the Port of Cleveland’s Dock 20 over Lake Erie. Enjoy the display from The Flats, Voinovich Park, Whiskey Island and Wendy Park. 10 p.m. downtowncleveland.com

City of West Lake 4th of July. The City’s annual Independence Day festivities include a parade that begins at Burneson Middle School on Dover Center Rd. at 10 a.m. followed by a classic car show, face painters, balloon twisters, and food vendors at Clague Park. Community Celebration & Fireworks Display. Bring your blanket and your family for this patriotic celebration featuring live music, food vendors, and children’s activities, including face painting, a 50/50 raffle, and more. Independence Day Fireworks. Every year the Lorain Port and Finance Authority sponsors a magnificent fireworks display for the residents and visitors of the City of Lorain to enjoy. July 5

 Pinecrest Farmer’s Market. Held each Wednesday in June through August from 4-7 p.m. Shop local produce and goods all summer long and enjoy some live music, too. Pinecrest in Orange Village. discoverpinecrest.com

Centennial Plaza Movie Series. This free outdoor movie event brings beloved, family-friendly movies to the big screen at Centennial Plaza in the heart of downtown Canton. July 6

Delight Nights at Akron Children’s Museum. The Akron Children’s Museum is hosting evening hours for those night owls who like to play late into the day!
