The Polar Express train ride is returning to the Cuyahoga Valley for the 27th consecutive year. Tickets for this annual event go on sale to Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad (CVSR) members on Tuesday, September 22, and non-members October 14.
The Polar Express is one of Northeast Ohio’s most popular holiday events, with tickets selling out every year. This year, the event is expected to do the same. Due to Covid-19, CVSR is operating with more stringent safety practices and procedures, including operating at 50 percent capacity.
Last year, CVSR sold out this event with more than 46,000 tickets. This year the organization will be selling half that amount and is expecting to sell out by the end of the day on October 14, when tickets go on sale to the general public.
The only process to gain early access to tickets is to become a member of CVSR at the Brakeman level and above. For information on becoming a member, visit cvsr.org/membership or call 234-759-0093.
