Oct. 28
Race through the historic Glendale Cemetery in downtown Akron at the Akron Area YMCA’s annual Jack-O-Lantern Jog 5K and Family Fun Day. There will be events for the whole family including costume judging, children’s activities, and a family trick-or-treat immediately following the conclusion of the event.
Celebrate Halloween from noon-6 p.m. at Crocker Park’s Tricks & Treats, which features food trucks, The Halloween Express, Pet Costume contest, and trick-or-treating.
Halloween at the “Boo-seum,” which takes place at the McKinley Museum in Canton, is an annual Halloween party that offers trick-or-treating in the Street of Shops, and Discover World, hayrides, scavenger hunt, and science shows.

Hauntaquarium Under the Big Top at the Greater Cleveland Aquarium is a not-so-spooky adventure that’s perfect for the whole family. Stay warm and dry trick-or-treating under the big top while enjoying a circus of activities, including costumed SCUBA divers in the shark exhibit, a maze, circus-themed photo ops, carnival games, crafts, live entertainment, balloon twisters and more.
Oct. 29
Families are invited to assemble and decorate a haunted gingerbread house together at the Kent Free Library. The activity is offered in two sessions and is geared toward families with children in grades 5 and under.
The Halloween Spooktacular in Cuyahoga Falls includes a petting zoo, hay and pony rides, inflatables and a hay maze.
Oct. 30
Montefiore is celebrating its 25th anniversary in Beachwood by welcoming the community to its Fall Harvest Family Festival, a free, fun and festive afternoon event. There will be activities for all ages, including rides on the Euclid Beach Rocket Car, a bounce house, magician performances, a craft project with Montefiore residents, animal shows, face painting and more.
