Crocker Park’s annual Wine Festival takes place Friday, September 13, from 4-10 p.m., and Saturday, September 14, from 2-10 p.m., with proceeds benefiting University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. The two-day event will host various wine growers, makers and vendors, as well as craft beer and spirits, live music and a social vibe, making it the ideal end of summer event.
“We are thrilled to bring back the wine festival for its ninth year at Crocker Park,” says Stacie Schmidt, vice president of marketing for Stark Enterprises. “The wonderful event atmosphere coupled with supporting the great mission of our local partner, UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, is one we are extremely proud of. We invite all to come and enjoy this festival in the beautiful Crocker Park!”
The Wine Festival will be held on Crocker Park’s Main Street with more than 150 local, national and international wine producers to meet, taste and enjoy. Also included in the event are more than 30 select craft beers and spirits, live music and vendors. Guests can sip and sample on-site while being educated on the various wines straight from the company’s representative, as well as enjoy delicious food from local restaurants.
Festival tickets are on sale through September 12 for $30 ($35 at the door). Attendees looking to enjoy both days of the festival can purchase weekend passes for $50 through September 12 ($60 at the door). All tickets include 10 tastings and a souvenir wine glass for each day attended.
In addition, this year’s festival offers a brand-new VIP experience, giving attendees the opportunity to enjoy exclusive tasting rooms from several restaurants in Crocker Park. At select times both Friday, September 13, and Saturday, September 14, the following will host exclusive tastings of wine and food pairings inside their restaurants: Brio Tuscan Grille, Burntwood Tavern, Hyde Park Steakhouse, and Market District. All tastings will be led by the restaurant’s appointed host and space is limited to keep an intimate setting.
Each VIP Experience tasting costs $40 per person in addition to the Crocker Park Wine Festival general admission ticket and can be purchased together at crockerparkwinefestival.com.
