Johnny Appleseed Weekend. There’ll be plenty of fun for the whole family. Pumpkin Village will be open to take a walk through the corn maze, slide down the super slide, enjoy a relaxing hayride through the orchard, and spend some time playing in the jump park. Starting September 25
Pumpkin Pandemonium. Bring the family to go on a scavenger hunt, get lost in the Harvest Maze and take a relaxing hayride around the farm. Saturday & Sunday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday 2-6 p.m. Heritage Farms, 6050 Riverview Rd., Peninsula, heritagefarms.com  

September 25 & 26
Horsepower Weekend. Witness history unfold, from animal-powered agriculture to the thunderous muscle cars of yesteryear. Visitors can enjoy antique tractor displays, equipment demonstrations such as corn-grinding and Farmpark’s regular weekend presentations. Visit lakemetroparks.com

September 26

FallFest: 18th Century Festival. Celebrate the pioneers of the Western Reserve at this fun, free, family-oriented event. Enjoy live folk music, dip your own candle, and play with pioneer toys.
