MOMIX celebrates its 35th year with the heralded new work “Alchemia” at the Connor Palace Theatre in Playhouse Square at 8 p.m. Saturday, January 23. Renowned for their hybrid style of modern dance, circus-like acrobatics and visual spectacle, the company performs as part of DanceCleveland’s 60th anniversary season.
“Alchemia” is an enchanting, phantasmagorical multimedia spectacle full of invention, beauty, sensuality and humor which explores the elements of earth, air, fire and water. The performance is for audience members of all ages.
DANCECleveland, a Cleveland, Ohio based non-profit, is one of a handful of presenters nationally that is dedicated solely to the presentation of modern and contemporary dance.
