Greater Cleveland Area Family-Friendly Events for the Weekend of Oct. 21-23

Once again, there’s plenty of fun on tap for this weekend in Northeast Ohio. Consult the list of highlights below to get your family’s calendar set. For a more complete listing of area events, click here.

Oct. 21
Both of Goldfish Swim School’s Northeast Ohio locations — in Warrensville Heights and Fairview Park — each are hosting a Spooktacular Family Swim event. Both feature a costume contest, face painting, fun crafts and games plus sweet treats.

It’s time for Third Fridays at 78th Street Studios. Visit Northeast Ohio’s eclectic art complex with over 60 galleries and studios from 5-9 p.m.

Oct. 21-22
Calling all clowns, tightrope walkers and jugglers! Hauntaquarium Under the Big Top, which takes place at the Greater Cleveland Aquarium, is a safe and friendly Halloween environment for even the youngest ringmasters.

Oct. 22
Come in costume to the Mall-o-Ween event at Great Lakes Mall, which features several activity stations and games for members to enjoy, including frightfully fun Halloween-inspired arts and crafts, yummy treats, festive giveaways and more.

Cleveland Botanical Garden’s Boo-tanical Bash lets kids play in the Hershey Children’s Garden during evening hours, trick-or-treat on decorated garden paths, and engage in fun activities.

As part of the Pokémon Go Lure Party in downtown Kent, “Lures” will be set in many popular locations throughout the district and more than two dozen participating businesses will have special offers in celebration of the event.

Oct. 23
All City Candy in Richmond Heights is celebrating its third anniversary with a free extravaganza event open to the public. The event includes tastings, family-friendly activities, raffles, giveaways and more.

Have a parents’ afternoon out at Gervasi Vineyard’s Fall Crawl 2016. Stroll the grounds while making your way to all four stops and select a beer or wine taste from each stop on the crawl paired with a favorite fall bite.
