The 2016 Northeast Ohio Buddy Walk, presented by Minute Men Staffing Services, will take place on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. More than 4000 people, the largest attendance ever, will gather at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo for a wheel friendly 1-mile walk to celebrate and support individuals with Down syndrome. Day-of registration is $15 per person and begins at 8 a.m. The Northeast Ohio Buddy Walk steps off at 9amand post event activities run till 1pm. Donate to the Buddy Walk at www.usod.org.
This family friendly event offers food, beverages and entertainment for all ages. Featured activities include Club Budd, an exclusive area just for individuals with Down syndrome 16 and older; Buddy Gateway featuring apparel and gift items hand crafted by individuals with Down syndrome as well as local service providers for individuals with disabilities; and so much more!
