Thinkie Winks Encourages Children to Be Positive

ThinkieWinkPressWhen 12-year-old Sydnie Singleton and her younger siblings Shelbie and Sean decided they wanted to change how kids viewed the world, they brainstormed until the company Thinkie Winks was created. These three siblings from Solon, Ohio recognized there was a need to help students gain confidence. After relaying their concern to their parents, together they collaborated the idea of a way for children to express themselves from the inside out, while building their self-esteem.

The Thinkie Winks movement is one of positive expression built on the principles of the fruit of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control. Thinkie Winks is a brand created to encourage and inspire children to embrace their inner gifts. As students themselves, the Singleton children were familiar with the pressures children faced every day.

Thinkie Winks CEO, Gia Singleton, acknowledges these character traits exist on the inside of each and every-one. Singleton’s mission for the company is to, “speak life into children by encouraging them to be confident in their innate talents and to establish values that will allow them to act with thoughtfulness and humility.” The Thinkie Winks brand is brought to life with nine individually animated characters. Each Thinkie Wink has a specific bio, which includes their birthday, favorite food, favorite color, career, and a dream for the world.

Thinkie Winks also emphasizes the importance of healthy eating, exercise, and consideration to others. Thinkie Winks goal is to encourage children to have a positive outlook and to dream without boundaries. Thinkie Winks also encourages confidence in a child’s innate talents, and supports a vision that would make an impact in the world by helping others
