Sales Consultant Job Description
Mitchell Media LLC is seeking an assertive, motivated, and positive individual to join the team in a sales capacity for the popular lifestyle brands Northeast Ohio Parent and Northeast Ohio Boomer. Seeking a coachable person with a digital-first mindset who can meet with prospects to access their marketing needs and propose solutions from our broad array of product offerings.
This is a work-at-home, independent contractor position with occasional meetings for planning and review with other staff members.
Unlimited earning potential with a high commission rate on all advertising sales made.
Core Responsibilities:
- Prospect for advertising sales including the following:
- Develop core prospect lists
- Reach out via personal visits, phone, email and other communications
- Meet with prospective clients
- Develop proposals
- Negotiate and close deals
- Secure advertising sales at levels to meet personal goals and company expectations
- Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly and offer clients the most current and effective solutions.
- Gather ad materials from clients
- Utilize online CRM platform to enter and track prospect and client activity
- Attend area networking events to further promote the brands
