The Akron Zoo is offering multiple free days throughout the month of November. First on Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., free admission is available to all guests.
The zoo is also offering Veterans Appreciation Days, presented by KeyBank, from Saturday, Nov. 7 through Wednesday, Nov. 11. All veterans, past and present, receive free admission with a valid military I.D., along with up to five free tickets thanks to support from KeyBank.
The zoo’s shopping event, Shop-a-Holidays, returns on Saturday, Nov. 14 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission is free for the day. More than 60 local vendors will be set-up throughout the zoo for guests to enjoy some holiday shopping.
Parking is free at the Akron Zoo daily.
The Akron Zoo is open 361 days a year. Off-season hours are 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission rates are $11 – $21. Children under two are free and parking is free.
