Great Lakes Science Center welcomes NASA astronaut, and Northeast Ohio native, Mike Good (Colonel, USAF, Ret.) for a special appearance Saturday, May 14, with a movie screening, audience Q & A and a meet and greet session.
NASA Glenn Research Center is marking its 75th anniversary this year and as part of the celebration, the Science Center — home of the NASA Glenn Visitor Center, is getting in on the occasion with several activities, including this special visit from astronaut Good.
Good will introduce a screening of the 2010 film “IMAX: Hubble,” which he appears in, followed by an audience Q & A inside the OMNIMAX Theater. The meet and greet session with the movie screening audience will begin shortly after.
Doors for the event will open at 11 a.m. with Good’s introduction and the film screening starting at 11:45 a.m. The meet and greet will be from 1-2:45 p.m. Good will meet with as many people as possible, but due to the tight schedule during his Cleveland visit, the meet and greet will end promptly at 2:45 p.m.

To register, call 216-621-2400. Combination tickets that include general admission to the Science Center are also available.

He has logged nearly 25 days in space during the course of the STS-125 Atlantis (2009) and STS-132 Atlantis (2010) missions where he helped to service the Hubble telescope and deliver materials to the International Space Station. Currently, Good serves in the Commercial Crew Program at the Johnson Space Center which aims to develop commercial access to and from the International Space Station and low-Earth orbit.
