The Akron Zoo is hosting its annual egg hunt, Egg-stra Wild Egg Hunt, on Saturdays and Sundays, April 5-6, 12-13 and 19 from 8:30 – 10 a.m. Egg hunters will scour sections of the zoo, based on the child’s age, in search for eggs to be redeemed for a special goody bag.
Allergy-friendly bags are available upon request. The bunny will be making a special appearance for photos, plus guests can enjoy a craft.
A Zoothing egg hunt location is new this year for people with different abilities who don’t like crowds or loud noises to enjoy a sensory friendly egg-vironment. Zoothing egg hunter tickets will be limited each day.
Tickets to Egg-stra Wild Egg Hunt include admission into the zoo for the day following the event. Tickets are available at akronzoo.org/egg-stra-wild-egg-hunt.
