Great Lakes Science Center is extending the run of TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition, presented by Bank of America, through April 25, 2027, following its successful run and strong public response over the last several months.
Offering a powerful and emotional journey through one of history’s most iconic stories, the Exhibition features more than 200 authentic artifacts recovered from the wrecksite that tell the story of the Ship and her passengers and crew, along with life-size reconstructions of the Ship’s most famous rooms, and the most historically accurate Titanic VR experience ever, providing a deeper understanding of the Ship and her legacy.
TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition also explores the contemporary effort to recover artifacts and conserve the site for scientific analysis and historical preservation ensuring future generations can learn from Titanic.

During the extended run, guests also will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Ship’s grandeur thanks to the Titanic VR experience. The Science Center was one of four locations in the United States to premiere the Titanic VR experience, the most detailed and complete VR tour of Titanic ever created, produced in collaboration with Titanic: Honor & Glory. The VR experience includes areas of the Ship that weren’t previously visible to the public.
“Walking through the exhibition I see guests of all ages find an artifact, an interactive exhibit, or a story that is meaningful to them,” Ellenbogen said. “So many people come to the Science Center knowing Titanic’s story but are thrilled to experience the VR or interactive exhibits that make the story come alive.”
The Exhibition is produced by E/M Group and RMS Titanic Inc. (RMST) RMST is the steward and salvor-in-possession of the Titanic wrecksite and are responsible for preserving the legacy of the Ship, the recovery and conservation of artifacts, and for honoring the memory of Titanic and those onboard. The world-renowned exhibition has been experienced by more than 37 million people worldwide. The company has conducted nine research and recovery expeditions since 1987 and has recovered more than 5,500 artifacts.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 children and $12 for Science Center Members. Guests receive $5 off when combined with general admission tickets to the Science Center. Tickets for the Titanic VR experience are $12. Audio tours of the exhibition are available for $5.
