The Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities will host a Community Job Fair on Wednesday, October 7 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Mentor Public Schools — Paradigm, 6465 Center Street, Mentor, Ohio. The free event is open to all job seekers and will provide an opportunity to meet local employers, explore career options, and learn about available positions.
Whether someone is looking for their first job, seeking a new opportunity, changing careers, returning to the workforce, or exploring what’s next, all job seekers are invited to attend. Attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their resume and connect with local employers to learn more about their organizations and the roles they have to offer.
Twenty-five employers are currently registered to participate, representing a variety of industries and employment opportunities. Participating employers include Blue Falls Car Wash, Comfort Keepers, Covelli Enterprises, Dairy Queen, D&S Automotive, Dollar Bank, Encore Care, Harbor Career Connections, Help Foundation, Hire Sync Recruiting, Lake County YMCA, Lake Metroparks, Laketran, Lincoln Electric, Mentor Recreation Center, Nesco Resource, Ohio Means Jobs, Qualigence Staffing, Royal Plastics, Small Hands Big Dreams, Texas Roadhouse, The Reserves Network, Winking Lizard, Wise Medical Staffing, and Zappitelli Financial Services. Additional employers are expected to participate.
“Our goal is simple: connect people with opportunity,” said Katie Debly, Employment Navigator of the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities. “We’re excited to bring local job seekers and employers together and help build a stronger, more inclusive workforce in our community.”
