The Lippman School’s cultural exchange program with the Northern Cheyenne Nation continues as students, teachers, and tribal elders from the Northern Cheyenne reservation in Montana visit Akron May 18-22. Their visit will include a number of opportunities for sharing and learning about both communities’ culture, history, and traditions, as well as a fun and family-oriented event open to the entire Akron area community.
This is the third year Northern Cheyenne tribal members have visited Akron. Lippman students visited the reservation in Lame Deer, Montana for the second time, last May.

Northern Cheyenne Bonfire and Drum Circle at Firestone Metro Park on Thursday, May 21 from 7-8:30 p.m, at Firestone Metro Park,Tuscarawas Meadows area, 2620 Harrington Rd., Akron, OH 44319
Join for an evening of traditional Northern Cheyenne drumming, dancing, singing, and cultural education. Free, no reservations required, bring the whole family.
