The BorderLight Theater Festival, founded in 2015 to present innovative theatre that inspires, builds cross-cultural understanding and celebrates the diversity of the human experience, this year will launch its first Family Day on July 27 in the Playhouse Square District in downtown Cleveland.
The festival this year will present from July 24-27 four international shows, 43 fringe shows featuring independent artists, and eight workshops across 20 stages in and around the Playhouse Square District.
Its inaugural Family Day will take place from Noon-4 p.m. on July 27, featuring 10 events including Afghan kite making, sidewalk chalk art, acting workshop, sky circus and more. Kids age 5 and under are free, while tickets for kids ages 6-16 are $10.
