Everyone seems to be using pallets in decor lately. Some projects are a bit more labor intensive and involve totally deconstructing a pallet. Others require a lot of tools and time. If you follow me on Instagram, you know that free, frugal and fast are my favorite “f” words!
This particular project is easy, requires very little tools, a few bunches of faux flowers and is so versatile! It can be used inside the home, on a front porch, at a vendor’s market as a decor display, at a party as a photo backdrop…the possibilities are endless!

You will want to clean your pallet. And if you prefer, paint it. I had a few already painted white lying around from previous projects, so I chose one of those for this. I typically prefer a bit of distressing with my paint projects as well.

The next step is to take your faux flowers and attach them to your pallet. I did this from the back side of the pallet and used a staple gun to hold the flowers in place.
*Before stapling, I had the pallet facing right-side-out and experimented with the flowers. I moved them around the pallet until I had them in position and where I liked them. I taped them in place so I could easily turn the pallet around and staple from the backside.*

I found it was easier to staple the leaves vs. the stem of the faux flowers.

I bent most of the stems and tucked them in between the layers of the pallet. Since this is a larger pallet, I knew it would be propped up somewhere for decor and I figured having the stems tucked away would keep the bunches from moving or being knocked around.

When you are finished stapling and securing the flowers from the back, turn your pallet around and remove the tape that was temporarily holding the bunches in place. In a few spots, for the larger bunches, I stapled the stems in spots easily hidden by blooms or leaves.
