Alphabet Adventures $500
Summer learning for preschoolers and kindergarteners, ages 3-5

June 12-July 10, 2024 (8:30-10 a.m.)
No classes Mondays, Fridays, June 19, and July 4-5
Lower Campus, Broadview Heights

A child’s level of phonemic awareness upon entering kindergarten is the strongest, single determinant of their future reading success. Alphabet Adventures—an 11-day program taught by degreed literacy specialists—develops this essential skill through a variety of visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile activities that connect sounds to letters. In addition to pre-literacy skills, your child will also experience STEM and math concepts through specialized instruction.

 

 

Lions Leap $1,200
Summer learning for students entering grades 1-6

June 12 -July 10, 2024 (7:45-11:45 a.m.)
No classes June 19 and July 4-5
Lower Campus, Broadview Heights

Leap ahead with Orton-Gillingham-based multisensory instruction! Lions Leap is not only an intensive dose of specialized instruction—it’s a powerful experience that shows kids who learn differently they CAN succeed academically. In just four weeks, Leapers build new skills, increase self-confidence, gain motivation, make new friends, and find out how fun learning can be!

  • Reading, writing, and mathematics are taught by certified teachers using an Orton-Gillingham-based multisensory approach.
  • Small class sizes grouped by skill level ensure the needs of every learner are met.
  • Each day consists of 40-minute lessons in phonics, reading, fluence, writing, and mathematics—with playground time in between.
  • Organization is explicitly taught and practiced, further developing the executive function skills essential for success in school and beyond.
