Marsi the opossum loves when she gets to paint! Why? Because it’s an excuse to enjoy some peanut butter!
Marsi is one of the Akron Zoo‘s animal ambassadors. She goes out on programs to schools, libraries and more to teach people about a cool native species. Opossums tend to have a bad reputation, with many people thinking they have rabies — Marsi helps debunk this myth! Opossums have a much lower body temperature than humans and other mammals, which makes it difficult for the virus to survive.
