Goldenrod Montessori serves children ages 3 to 6 in their full-day Montessori Children’s House. Their shop front setting is nested in the historic Shaker Square center. They are part of the nationwide Wildflower network of schools. They are the first Wildflower school in Northeast Ohio. That sets them apart, offering a unique, innovative school that blurs the boundaries between home and school, the school and the community and school and nature. They provide a beautiful learning environment that is healthy, safe, and life-affirming for all children. Their teacher-led microschool is non-hierarchical, and responsive to the needs of individual children. They embrace equity as an essential part of being a Montessori educator.
