Akron Zoo announced its grand opening of the newest habitat area, the Lehner Family Foundation “Wild Asia”. Visit Sumatran tigers, red pandas and white-cheeked gibbons in addition to the more than 250 other species who call the Akron Zoo home.
Throughout the day on May 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., enjoy live entertainment from Gum-Dip Theatre. Each act will feature the traditions of Karen, Burmese, Nepali, Mon and Hmong cultures. Learn the historical context and personal narrative for each presentation as we celebrate the local Asian American community.
Plus, promotional giveaways available while supplies last.
Tickets must be reserved online. No tickets will be available at the door. To avoid overcrowding, tickets are available via time ticketing. The time selected for your tickets is the time you must enter the park. Even Akron Zoo members must have tickets to enter the park.
