Learn grounding skills through expressive arts, gain self-awareness, develop coping skills, and learn how to navigate challenges. Classes are facilitated by a licensed therapist. Participants will experience connection to self and others while exploring shared feelings, events, and circumstances. Children faced with challenges, including anxiety, inattention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, emotional dysregulation, and/or difficulty connecting with others, will benefit from this group. The Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) will perform a traditional D.C.-style Changing of the Guard ceremony in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Patriot approximately every 15 to 20 minutes. We kindly ask attendees to keep quiet and avoid interruptions during the ceremony. The SAR will hold a memorial service the following day at 10:30 am. Both events are free and open to the public.
