The most joyous of Lakewood traditions is returning to Downtown Lakewood for the 16th annual celebration. This is a free, family-friendly event on Detroit Avenue in Downtown Lakewood. It features a holiday parade, lighting ceremony, a beer garden, holiday train, live music, ice carvings, hot chocolate, food trucks, children’s games and more. Santa on the Green is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Hudson. It has been a tradition in Hudson for over 45 years. During last year's celebration, more than 350 children visited Santa assisted by numerous Rotarians. The event takes place on the Hudson Gazebo Green.
