Crocker Kids Virtual is Back for a Creative Break This Summer

Crocker Park is partnering with Northeast Ohio Parent magazine and Lake Ridge Academy to bring back the popular summer event series, Crocker Kids. This year, the event series is going virtual, inviting children to log on to Crocker Park’s Facebook page every Tuesday at 11 a.m. for a fun and educational class with stores and restaurants inside Crocker Park.

“We look forward to hosting Crocker Kids with Northeast Ohio Parent Magazine every year, bringing fun and enjoyable events to the community,” said Stacie Schmidt, vice president of marketing and communications for Stark Enterprises. “Knowing this year is a bit different, we decided to shift the event and still provide children and parents a fun and interactive activity with the Crocker Kids spin from the comfort of their own home with hosted at a variety of locations. We are excited to be working with our fantastic Crocker Park businesses as well as connecting with our incredible community throughout these next few months.”

Beginning Tuesday, August 4, Crocker Park’s Facebook page will go live at 11 a.m. for a free, interactive class in which children can participate from anywhere. The supplies needed to participate will be announced prior on Facebook for each themed class, so participants can walk through the activity with the instructor and feel involved in the entire process. Throughout the month, participants who sign up for the classes will be able to redeem discounts, virtual goodie bags provided by Lake Ridge Academy and be entered to win gift cards to the store teaching the class that week.

The August class schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, August 4: Learning Express Toys – Backyard Games

Tuesday, August 11: Athleta – Yoga Class

Tuesday, August 18: Aveda – Summer Braids & Back To School Hairstyles
