People who love to fish will love what’s happened in Lake Metroparks this week. The ponds at Hidden Lake and Veterans Park were stocked this week with nice-sized bass, bluegill and catfish. Veterans Park was also stocked with 2000 trout by ODNR Division of Wildlife.
Lake Metroparks’ aquatic resources bring value to our parks and to Lake County; offering a variety of opportunities for fishing including stocked ponds as well as river, stream and lakeshore access. Lake Metroparks encourages catch and release fishing, which helps to maintain fish populations and ensure many park goers the same opportunities to enjoy fishing.
