Teacher Appreciation Week May 4-8

Teachers play a key role in student success and sometimes a simple “thanks” is all a teacher needs to feel valued. Take the time to celebrate your students’ teachers during 2015 PTA Teacher Appreciation Week May 4-8. Here are some ways you and your family say thanks from the PTA Pinterest Board:

  • You can go old-school and have your child give their teacher an apple, however, there are many creative ways to pair the fruit such as pinned by SallysBakingaddiction.com who suggests packaging it with a homemade salted caramel dip.

  • Some other pins included decorated candy or cookie jars with cute saying such as “I am one smart cookie because of you” such as a pin from tancamjenksfam.blogspot.com Look for the other pins such as school supply, coffee and tea, flower gifts and more.
