Begin your adventure with these Yelp-approved local businesses!

1.) Harlow’s – Lakewood

If you are looking for a fun, modern and photo-worthy pizzeria, Harlow’s is the place for you! As one of the most beautifully decorated pizzerias in town, the classic diner decor outside makes a perfect contrast to the sleek look inside. The owners’ philosophy is to keep their menu and design simple and to focus on the pizza. You’ll love their fall-friendly patio for a fun photoshoot with your little one!

Tip: Order a bowl of sauce on the side for dipping! It goes with every pizza on the menu!

2.) Crust – Cleveland (Tremont)

Crust is known for the size of their slices! Not only do they have a variety of pizza options from which to choose, but you can upgrade your slice into a monster slice. Why settle for a small slice when you can have twice the amount of delicious pizza? Get your cameras ready!

Tip: After dinner, head upstairs to Visible Voice bookstore in their shared building and browse the collection of children’s books!

Citizen Pie

3.) Citizen Pie – Cleveland (North Collinwood)

With a motto of “Pizza for the People,” Citizen Pizza truly lives up to its standards of being authentic and efficient. Using a 15,000-pound brick pizza oven, everything in this pizzeria is natural and pure down to the oven kindled with apple, oak and cherry logs. Your impatient kiddos will only have to wait 90 seconds for their pizza to cook!

Tip: Check out the wood-fired Nutella sandwich, a puffy dough stuffed with soft serve and Nutella with a sprinkle of pistachios on top!

Vero Pizza Napoletana

4.) Vero Pizza Napoletana – Cleveland Heights

If you’re craving new and exciting pizza flavors, Vero’s is the place to be! Try its fun pizza flavor options like Milk n’ Honey (made with mozzarella, farm egg, and hot honey) and you are guaranteed to have an exciting experience. We love the smaller pizza, Plain Jane (made with only cheese and tomato), for your little one.

Tip: Opt to eat downstairs and decide between the 18 flavors of gelato for a post-meal dessert!

Mama Santa’s

5.) Mama Santa’s– Cleveland (University Circle)

Not only does Mama Santa’s have delicious pizza made from a stone oven, but it also has a touching story. The owners, who emigrated from Sicily after World War II, opened Mama Santa’s in 1961 — and the dishes are homemade family recipes. Not only can you taste the fresh ingredients, but its staple dessert, spumoni, is a must try. Mama Santa’s spumoni is a molded gelato filled with candied fruits and nuts with layers of bright colors and different flavors.

Tip: Its homemade noodles were featured on the Food Network!
