A new survey of parents found that kids spend less than one hour each day being active, yet parents want their kids to go outside more and try new things.

On the latest episode of aParently Speaking, host Miriam Conner, is joined by sports psychologist and orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Dan O’ Neill, MD, EdD. 

Dr. O’Neill joins the show to  talk about the lack of physical activity, childhood obesity, and the plummeting activity levels in kids. How parents can get their kids excited about being more active and much more. Dr. O’Neill discusses his new book, Survival of the Fit- How Physical Education Ensures Academic Achievement and a Healthy Life.
