Visit the William McKinley Presidential Library and Museum. This President’s Day, join them at the McKinley Presidential Library & Museum to explore history and engage with inspiring exhibits. Presidents Day at the Rutherford B. Hayes Museum. Celebrate Presidents’ Day with free admission and activities at America’s first presidential library. Presidents Day at Maltz Museum. Celebrate history this Presidents Day at the Maltz Museum with a full day of discovery and community for all ages. Lake Metroparks Events. Families looking for fun ways to spend Presidents Day can enjoy three hands-on, kid-friendly events across Lake Metroparks. The parks will offer interactive experiences focused on wildlife, geology and farm life designed for young learners. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Penitentiary Glen Reservation, Fun Day: Pocket Monsters will explore real animals that inspired popular gaming creatures through games, activities and live animal chats. Also from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Rock Around the Park Open House at Jordan Creek Park’s Environmental Learning Center will highlight geology with rock specimens, crafts and educational activities.
