Maker Faire Cleveland Week at Cleveland Public Library

From robots and knitting to origami and STEM projects, Cleveland Public Library will host a series of Maker workshops and hands-on, interactive projects at Main Library and most neighborhood branches this week.

From Monday to Friday, November 15 through 19, put on your maker hat and get creative with a week of hands-on activities and projects! Events are free and open to the public. Visit your neighborhood branch to learn more. For a complete list of library activities, visit cpl.org

This celebratory week of innovation is leading up to the Maker Faire Cleveland showcase on Saturday, November 20, from 6-9 p.m. at the Great Lakes Science Center, 601 Erieside Avenue, Cleveland.

Celebrate creativity in CLE with live presentations, performances, and interactive Maker activities for all. Free admission. The event will feature:

  • Demonstrations and hands-on exhibits by Cleveland Makers
  • Gaming Zone
  • NASA Glenn Visitor Center
  • Cleveland Public Library’s TechCentral
  • Virtual author talk by science fiction author Nnedi Okorafor
