‘Chagall for Children’ at Maltz Museum

‘Chagall for Children’ opens at the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage this weekend, with a kick-off event on Sunday, May 15. The children’s exhibition, through August 28, is specifically designed to engage ages 2 – 12 and features 14 multi-sensory exploration stations, each incorporating a high-quality reproduction of one of twentieth century Belarusian-French artist Marc Chagall’s works encouraging children to explore art principles such as color, composition, light and texture.

A family fun day on May 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (timed tickets) offers families an opportunity to explore the new special exhibition and attend special events. Attendees can enjoy live performances throughout the day, from Mandel JCC’s Playmakers Youth Theater to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and more.

For the May 15 event, timed tickets are available for 10 and 11 a.m. and 1, 2, and 3 p.m.

Tickets: $5 per person. Free for children under 5 and Maltz Museum Members. Masks are recommended but not required. Learn more about the kickoff event here and the exhibit at maltzmuseum.org
