Akron General provides a variety of summer camps that offer a fun, rewarding experience for kids. Friendly, supportive staff creates a safe, comfortable environment to help kids learn and grow. “A Trip Through Time” has a variety of camps for children ages 3-14 with fun indoor and outdoor activities that encourage fitness, sportsmanship and learning. “All Sports Camp” is designed to give children ages 5-13 the opportunity to learn about many different sports and activities that reinforce and encourage values of honesty, respect and responsibility. “Camp Promise” helps children ages 6-11 who have experienced a significant loss, such as that of a parent, grandparent or sibling. Children learn to understand and manage their grief through various creative activities.
