If you are looking for toys and resources for kids, consider United Disability Services, located at 701 S. Main St. in Akron, provides the Toy and Resource Center, which loans developmental toys and resource materials to anyone working with a child birth to age 6 with special needs or a child developing typically. The Center staff can help members select constructive, age-appropriate toys and offer fun ideas for play.
Annual membership fees are open to individuals and organizations including parents, teachers, therapists, students and child care centers. Also available is specialized adaptive switches, toys and computer software.
