In this video, used as part of the Northeast Ohio Parent KidStream series, an educator at the Children’s Museum of Cleveland offers step-by-step instructions for kids to make their very own simple circuit at home.
According to CMC, “Grab an adult friend … and experiment with different materials from around your home to see what types of materials are conductors and which are insulators. For a rounded educational lesson, this activity pairs with our electricity themed storytime.”
While the museum is closed due to COVID-19 precautions, check its website and Facebook page for special at-home activities, movement lessons, storytimes and more, all created by CMC staff.
