The Connecting for Kids Parking Lot Safety Awareness Program offers families free safety kits to educate children about the dangers of running away from a car without holding an adult’s hand. The kits include a magnet that, when placed on the car, give kids a visual spot to put their hand to wait until an adult can safely lead them to the next destination. Kits will be available at a free Meet and Greet event in Rocky River on Wednesday.
