Looking for a refreshing drink to beat the summer heat? Northeast Ohio Parent blogger Aisha Taylor of FNPhenomenal shares her cucumber mint water recipe, that you can make with a few ingredients from your garden.
Recipe for Aisha’s cucumber mint water:
2.5 cups of water
1/4 medium cucumber sliced thin
5-7 mint leaves torn in half
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients to a water bottle or small pitcher.
2. Infuse in the refrigerator up to overnight. (I recommend a minimum of 1 hour to the flavor to infuse in the water. The longer you infuse, the more flavor the water will have.)
3. Serve chilled
Optional:
Add 2-3 chopped raspberries
If you like ginger, I’ve added about 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger to the water and it’s delicious (fresh would be an amazing option, but I use the ground ginger because it’s faster)
Note:
This recipe is easily scalable.
