Women have made discoveries since the beginning of scientific inquiry, yet often are less celebrated or even acknowledged than their male peers.

“Celebrating Women in Science – Presented by KeyBank” is a series of lectures, exhibits and special programs occurring at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History through April 28. It showcases the incredible women who blaze new trails of discovery every day. Exhibits feature “The Bearded Lady Project: Challenging the Face of Science,” along with “I Am A Women in Science” (through February 18) and “Science Saturdays,” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. through April 28. There also are special programs, along with the the capstone event “International Women and Girls in Science Day” on Saturday, February 10.
