Cleveland Metroparks Zoo today announced the return of Asian Lantern Festival. Beginning on July 14, the zoo will be transformed with more than 1,000 new illuminated lanterns, live acrobatic performances and culturally-inspired cuisine.

The orangutan born at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo in April now has a name: Zaki! The baby is the first successful orangutan birth at the zoo since 2014. Similar to humans, orangutan offspring are completely dependent on their mother for the first few years of their life.

The Cleveland Museum of Art's Community Arts Center opens to the public on Saturday, June 12. Also, the museum launches Parade the City, which keeps the spirit of the annual Parade the Circle alive by pairing local artists with community groups to create eight celebratory art installations throughout Cleveland.
