Returning for its third year, the Eton Explorers Summer Event Series kicks off next Tuesday, June 12 with a Safari Party at Eton Chagrin Boulevard in Woodmere. The free, family-friendly event promises to deliver the fun with crafts, activities, games, prizes and more, plus a special performance by Jungle Terry and Friends.

Cleveland Independents in conjunction with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank present the fourth annual Cookies for Kids, a fundraiser to help feed area children. All proceeds from cookie sales at more than a dozen member locations will be donated to the two food banks.
