Cuyahoga County Public Library sponsors Food4Fines Food Drive

Library patrons can reduce their fines when they donate "Super Six" food items to Harvest for Hunger, from March 1-31 in this annual event. All donations collected from the library system's branches will be delivered to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank for distribution to food pantries, hot meal programs and shelters throughout the region.

Local Restaurants Make Donation to Cleveland Clinic Children’s

Chef Art Pour Restaurant Group presented Cleveland Clinic Children’s with a check for $5,000 to be used in pediatric education. Funds were raised through the sale of holiday gift cards at Burntwood Tavern, M Italian, and Pacos Tacos.

Experience ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ in 70mm in the OMNIMAX Theater at Great Lakes Science Center

The Science Center's OMNIMAX Theater will hold the screening and will not include any previews or trailers for coming attractions. The theater is one of fewer than 20 worldwide showing the movie on 70mm film. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, and will be available at the Science Center box office.
