Maria Paparella, 18, of Akron, founder of the nonprofit organization known as Chair-ity, which provides furniture and household goods to teenagers who have emancipated through Summit County Children Services, was selected as the winner of the 2016 Russ Pry Youth Award.

The Northeast Ohio Buddy Walk is hosted by The Up Side of Downs of Northeast Ohio and will be held at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.
