Skip the weekend crowds and give your little one some extra space to explore a pumpkin patch, pick apples, go on a hayride and more during these weekday fall events!

Through October 27

Pumpkin Pandemonium. Go on a scavenger challenge, get lost in the Harvest Maze and take a hayride touring around the Christmas tree farm. Kingsway Pumpkin Farm. Enjoy an 8 acre corn maze, wagon ride, farm animals, pedal carts, jump pad, straw maze & corn box. Trick-or-Treat Fest. Don’t miss the Zoo’s daytime Halloween celebration. Trick-or-Treat Fest includes meet-and-greets with costumed characters, access to more than a dozen trick-or-treat stations, and the Monster Mash Dance Party. Pumpkin Days at Nickajack Farms. Activities include wagon rides, corn maze, pony rides, barnyard animals, corn crib, sunflower field, kids construction zone, pedal carts and more. Szalay’s Farm Market. Make your way through the three-acre corn maze and find all eight wooden pumpkins and your way out of the maze. The corn maze takes approximately 30 minutes to walk through and it will give you a chance to test your navigational skills (a map is included). October 10

Halloween Fair. Enjoy Lorain Metroparks’ Halloween Fair with lights and sounds limited to reduce stimulus. Trams will be available on the haunted trail on a first-come, first-served basis for mobility needs. All-Abilities Night packs in all of the same event fun, including the family-friendly haunted trail, Little Green Choo rides, food trucks, and games. October 28

Pumpkins and Piranhas. On this special Sensory Night, enjoy limited noise, softened lighting and adjusted activities to ensure a comfortable environment for those who could benefit from a reduction in external stimuli.
