Join the Children's Museum of Cleveland for a storytime about New Year's and other celebrations around the world. In this fun reading of the book "What Do You Celebrate?" children will learn about holidays and festivals in several countries around the world, including China, Israel, Ireland and Germany.

Giving kids an opportunity to learn real-life skills through science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) activities helps prepare them for the challenges of everyday life, high school and even their careers. We spoke with several teachers, educators and administrators who shared some of the skills that children can tap through STEAM that will help them succeed at school and in the future.

House Bill 231, also known as the Allison Rose Act, has passed within both chambers of the General Assembly and is headed to the governor’s desk. The bill, which was introduced by Ohio State Rep. Dave Greenspan (R-Westlake), encourages school districts, community schools and STEM schools to create food allergy training for staff members and students.
